Antique Georgian Silver Tankard/Mug, Layaway Available

This is a magnificent George IV sterling silver one-pint tankard/mug with a half-fluted body, a double-scrolled acanthus leaf capped handle, and a round foot.

The partially worn hallmarks on the body indicate the makers' initials WS and a possible date code for 1823.

Height 5" (12.5cm)
This fine quality piece is of good heavy gauge silver, weighing 11.38 troy ounces (354.1 grams).

A great looking Georgian silver tankard in excellent condition for its age. There is some later (1892) engraving on the body, as seen in the photos.

Lovely clean condition and superb quality workmanship throughout.

This would be a great addition to any antique silver collection.
