This is a very eye-catching early-twentieth-century emerald and diamond cluster ring. The 3.5 mm round cut natural emerald in the centre is set within two circular clusters of old-cut natural diamonds onto a platinum floral setting raised on a beautiful openwork back and a yellow gold band.

Setting Diameter: 14.2 mm

Setting height above finger: 6 mm

Emerald: 3.5 mm (0.12 carats), medium green in color and moderate clarity.

Diamonds: There are eight 2 mm (0.24 carats), and six 1.5 mm (0.09 carats natural old cut stones of very good color and clarity. Their combined weight is 0.33 carats.

Hallmarks: The band is stamped 18CT & PLAT

Ring Weight: 4.2 grams
